So one of my favorite tropes is the tough guy who is actually very insecure and sensitive. He puts on a rough facade for the sake of his gang, but really he's all heart.

This track actually has a guest musician playing that electric guitar part - Nathan Kelly. He was a guitar major that I met at school. When he heard the programmed guitar solo, he asked if I would like him to record an actual performance of it. He did such a great job!
