This is probably my favorite track from the whole project. It was originally written for harpsichord, but that was (inevitably) way too stuffy.

Eventually I landed on the dulcimer, which gives it a sort of ancient Appalachian feel. In this game, the princess character would probably join your party, like Marle from Chrono Trigger or Peach from Mario RPG.

But the tone is probably closer to a theme for Princess Zelda. Between the King, the Princess, and the Hero, there's definitely some LoZ stuff going on here.
